I’m 52 years old, at the time of this writing, and till last year I had read no more than 20 non-academic books in my whole life. It was only in May 2016, that I became a compulsive reader, thanks to my disastrous experience with a Kindle E-reader.
All my life I bought books, hoping I would read them, but never did. Now all the paper books just sit there staring at me – untouched new. If I want to read any of those paper books, I now reacquire a Kindle version. The paper versions are being passed on to friends. This has nothing to do with my love for trees, or anything philosophical like that. It’s just that I can somehow read books off of a glowing screen – but my mind goes blank when I’m reading off of paper. I also love the fact that I can carry a thousand books in the palm of my hand
Since I have suffered from incapability of reading books, I now want to share my reading experience with all, hoping my selection, and reviews, of books, would help someone get over their reader’s mental block.
The following is not a complete list of books in my library, but I hope to bring it up to speed, in time. Please keep checking back on this post to see what I’m reading, or planning to read.
